So Noah has now decided that there will be many changes in his life, due to his new level of maturity (turning 4 and all). He has chosen to no longer wear pants or shorts with pockets on the behind. And if I try to put them on him, he (with his most grown up voice) informs me that, "these furusterate me, Mommy!"
He also believes that he has grown taller. He went to a friend's home and had to wash his hands at the sink. Well, her sink is much lower than ours is at home, so he did not have to use a stool. He stepped right up to the sink and half way through washing his hands, he looks up at me in amazement and states, "Mommy, I can reach the water. Must be cause I am 4!"

NOT ON THE CARPET!!!
After church on Sunday morning, we took the short drive back to our house. I parked in the garage, as usual. Noah had been listening to KLOVE and I was chatting with my Mamaw as she was explaining how she and Papaw would just love for us to send Big Head their way to spend some quality time. As I rounded the corner, I see Little Heiny peeing on my carpet! I quickly got off the phone, dropped everything and went to Noah. With my most serious mommy voice, I asked him what in the world he was thinking? He said, "I just couldn't hold it." I cleared my throat and reminded him that the bathroom was less than ten feet away, or the yard was only one foot away. I would have preferred the yard (yes, even with the neighbor's watching) over my carpet! He looked up, feeling my frustration and said, "There's no such thing as perfect people, Mommy." (that line is even funnier if you listen to Natalie Grant)
As humorous as it all sounds now, I was not amused and said, "I am not asking you to be perfect, I am simply asking that you pee in the TOILET!"
Mamaw and Papaw his bags are ready =)

Give me back my SKIN!!!
Yesterday, Big Head was running and he slipped on the carpet. He was pretty upset. Carpet burns do hurt bad, after all! I assured him that we would clean it and put a bandage on to make it feel better. But nothing I could say was putting him at ease. He just kept looking at his arm where the booboo was. Then he walked slowly over to the spot where he had fallen and began looking around? I asked him what he was doing, he replied, "I am lookin for my skin, I need it back!"
Sit, no Stand, no Sit!!!
Big Head is so excited to be turning the big 04 this week! So we decided that it was time for him to start sitting in big church on Sunday nights. Knowing that I have a pretty hyper son and my husband was preaching last night, I was quite nervous at first. However, Noah did really well. He was very quiet, and when he did want to speak he used his whisper voice. He did not crawl under the seats, throw gum, yell, or run up the isle. He was being a perfect little angel. Well, perfect for him =) Then suddenly he just stood up. I told him to sit. He did. Then about two minutes later he stood back up. I told him to sit. He did. This went on about eight times! And finally I asked him 'why' he was choosing to stand up. He said, "Daddy told me to." And he was so right. Michael's sermon was on 'Standing up for Christ' so each time he said that, Noah would stand up!
